Summary0006736: Mantis - application error #11
Description

I created a bug report (very long one) and forgot to fill in the summary field.
After I cliked 'Submit Report' I got the follwoing error:

application error 0000011
A necessary field 'Summary' was empty. Please recheck your inputs.
Please use the "Back" button in your web browser to return to the previous page. There you can correct whatever problems were identified in this error or select another action. You can also click an option from the menu bar to go directly to a new section.

I used the 'Back' button and it took me to the EMPTY bug report form.
I know that it works this way by default in all browsers. However is it possible to store data somewhere (a cookie for example) so it's not lost in case of an error? Thanks.

We're having this error too. This is annoying. Is this an apache issue? We're not getting this on other web apps on the same apache server.

bug exists only for firefox 2 on linux and opera on windows, I guess. Bug does not exist on Firefox 2,3 for windows, or IE 7

Does this still occur in later builds e.g. 1.2.0 alpha?

We have verified the problem with Firefox 3.0 and IE 7. Apache server and Mantis 1.1.2.

Bug 0009323 supercedes this issue now.
