Summary	0003992: LDAP user replication & MD5 fallback
Description	If LDAP is active, it would be nice to see Mantis replicate the user e-mail and password into its internal database. That way if the LDAP server is unavailable, Mantis could authorize with the same user/password against its own data. Also this would make it possible to combine users from LDAP and external users. Right now an LDAP user can make a typo on the email address, still logon into Mantis over LDAP, but never receive updates via e-mail.

vboctor 2009-07-05 21:28 manager ~0022404	Are you referring to replicating the data on login or via some sort of sync? Can't the email verification happen when by verifying the user's email against the one in LDAP associated with the same username?
