Integrating Mantis with dokuwiki weatherwax

I have recently discovered that the dokuwiki integration described here: http://www.mantisbt.org/wiki/doku.php/m ... h_dokuwiki no longer works.

According to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2641 ... n-dokuwiki the authentication strategy described in the above page is no longer valid with the current version of dokuwiki.

Wonder if anyone has adapted the authentication plugin for dokuwiki or has successfully installed the latest version mantisbt with the latest version of dokuwiki.
