Summary	0009874: Update Version menu items missing in View Issues "Bulk Assign" combobox pop-up
Description	After upgrading from Mantis 1.1.2 to 1.1.5, the "Update Target Version" (and "Update Fixed in Version") was not available in the View Issues window combobox. The pop-up only included: Move, Copy, Assign, Close, Delete, Resolve, Set/Unset Sticky, Update Priority, Update Status, Update Category, Update View Status, Add Note, Attach Tags. Were there others in earlier versions?
Steps To Reproduce	switch to "View Issues" screen select an issue checkbox (menu apparently isn't contextual but just in case) scroll to bottom of screen select from combobox near bottom left of screen (just to right of "Select All") "Update Target Version" and "Update Fixed in Version" menu items are missing.

BAMaustin 2008-11-23 20:42 reporter ~0020002	Bug 9875 is s duplicate of this one due to the Upload File (of the menu's screen capture) portion returning a "APPLICATION ERROR #503 Invalid upload path. Directory either does not exist or not writable to webserver." message. The message lead me to believe the whole report submission failed. Eh, sorry about that Chief. Also, could someone with rights change the "Reproducibility" to "Sometimes"? 3 hours later and doing the same process brings up the menus with the missing 2 items.

BAMaustin 2008-11-23 22:53 reporter ~0020003	Did lots of experimenting. Finally discovered that the menu items only disappear when "All Projects" instead of a specific project or subproject is selected in the View Issues window. The behavior is the same in IE7 and Firefox 3.0.4

SamCPP 2009-04-20 00:30 reporter ~0021599	I can reproduce the bug always. It seems to be a timeout or a page load issue. If I leave it for a while and refresh the view issues page then the options disappear. This is still a bug because the following can be reproduced: 1) Login to mantis (I log in as admin). The project selected by default is ALL. 2) View issues - this would show issues from all projects. If I click on some checkboxes and the "Update Target Version" and "Update Fixed in Version" menu items are present. 3) Wait for a period of time (15-30 mins) and/or open other mantis links in other tabs. 4) Go to view issues tab and refresh. The options are now missing. All projects is still selected. Switching to a single project seems to restore the options. That doesn't escape the fact that immediately after initial login, all projects selected worked.

TekAmit 2011-01-27 08:20 reporter ~0028102	Can we please have someone to look at this issue. For us, actually when we log in for the first time and by default we have "All Project", do see Fixed in version option, but as soon as I switch from "All projects" to say "single project", then this item on View issues page get lost.

dregad 2011-12-08 13:28 developer ~0030520	I tried but did not manage to reproduce this on the latest 1.2.x trunk following instructions given by SamCPP in 0009874:0021599. Can you please clarify or confirm your steps (especially the "and/or" think on point 3)
