Problems when uploading a file to a ticket

I have a mantis 2.25.2 and PHP 7.4.33 running and from one day to the other it stopped allowing to upload files. The weirdest thing is that with my admin user I can not upload anything of any size but a consultant with developer permissions can upload files of 100 kb. no error appears in the log of both mantis and the O.S..
As I said, everything was working without any problem until a few days ago. I checked the config_inc.php, php.ini, disk space and inodes and 3 browsers (chrome, firefox and edge) and everything is ok.
I would appreciate if you could give me some idea of what could be wrong.
