Upgrade from very old (1.1.6) to the newest one

Post by Zamana »

Hello everybody!

We are trying to upgrade from a very, very, very old version (1.1.6) to newest one, and of course we are facing a lot of troubles...

The one I'm dealing now is this one:

APPLICATION ERROR #401
#1292:Incorrect datetime value: '1664378589' for column `mantis`.`mantis_user_table`.`last_visit` at row 1"

during admin/install.php

Specifically: does anybody knows how fix this particular error?

Generally: is there a tutorial about the best way to upgrade from 1.1.6?

Thanks in advance.
Best regards.

I would do it in steps, first to 1.2.0, then the last 1.2 version and finally to 2.x

Hi!

Ok. And where can I find these versions?

I was able to find the 1.3.20 only...

Thanks.
Regards.

@cas is there a special reason that you recommend it this way?
IIRC there were some upgrade issues in 1.2.0 that where fixed in later 1.2.x versions.
Please use Search before posting and read the Manual

Some time ago I helped someone with a similar upgrade (with similar issues, cannot recall which ones exactly). Using the step approach, I got all done without any issues. Not sure if I used 1.2.0 or 1.2.1 but the approach worked like a charm.
