User repeatedly cannot log in

Hello,
i have a problem with a user, in regular intervals he is not able to log in to Mantis with his access data. Then I reset the password and it works again for a while, but then it doesn't work again.
I can't delete and recreate the user, because then his old entries are no longer linked to him.
Can anyone help me with this?
