Custom Field & By Date in Summary Page

Hi all
I have two question regarding the customization of mantis
1) I would like to create a custom field containing a list of possible names to select without having to scroll down like the multilist field type. Is there a way to display it like an auto suggest ? Ex : I type "ka" => proposes every name containing "ka" like "Katie" and "Erika".
2) In the summary page, is it possible to replace the "By date" table by a datepicker that would affect every other tables?
