Filtering changed custom field type

I have one custom field - type List and Possible Values: system1 | system2 |system3 .
When I changed type to Multiselection List I cant recive correct values from filter (values: system2, system3) on view issues tab.
Do you know is there any possibilites to change type and see list of bug from type previos type?
