When entering text like "~30'000" mantis just ignor "~30".
"~30'000" results in "'000".
A similar problem cccurs when entering the hash-character. The hash is simply ignored.
Do we have to use certain settings in our installation or is it necessary to train all mantis users to quote or whatever some special characters?
Thanks
Stefan

I would guess that the problem with the tilde and the hash is that these are default link tags...
$g_bug_link_tag = '#'
$g_bugnote_link_tag = '~'
Though why there aren't any links actually being created I couldn't say... I wonder if the apostrophe has anything to do with it?
Also... any chance of checking the HTML source around that area? Maybe there is hyperlink code there, with no text between the <A></A>?
