Mantis still the way to go for a multi-user, somewhat featured bug tracker?

Post by maysobano »

I'm currently beta testing a project in a closed circle (around 15 people), and I've been thinking for a while how to organize feedback and bug reporting. I've used Mantis pretty extensively in the past while I worked for my former employer, but the thing is, the UI is terrible. I can use it, but my testers are not tech-savvy, and I'd rather have something that doesn't take them a while to figure out how to use. Plus, Mantis also feels a bit slow usability wise when it comes to manage hundreds of issues, which I expect to have...

So, long story short, what do you guys use for a bug tracker that is fast, lightweight, and usable by non-developers as of today? Is Mantis still the way to go?

Mantis can deal with thousands of issues without going slow so Mantis is definately a good option
