How to close the Project

In Mantis, What is the process to close the Project so that no user is able to add any defect in that project. but should be accessible to Admin.

I'm also interested in this feature.
Is there a way to do that or do you plan to add this feature in a future release?
A temporary solution: set users with read only rights in the project.

There are at least two options, depending on what you exactly want.

Option 1)
Goto page Manage > Manage Projects
Click on the project you want to change
Set "Status" to "obsolete"
Click "Upadte Project"

Option 2)
Choose the project in the project selection list
Goto page Manage > Manage Configuration > Workflow Thresholds
Uncheck columns for reporter, updater, developer, manager in row "Report an issue"
Repeat for other rows
