Changing users and view status of all subprojects

Hello,

Is it possible to set the view status and users' permissions of subprojects to be inherited from their parent?
Or just change/overwite all subprojects view status and users when changing these properties of their parent?

There is Update Subproject Inheritance button, but it has another functionality ...

Thank you for any help, I have many subprojects defined, and managing user lists separately for each of them are quite laborious.
