How to disable "Close Bug" button.

Hello,
I need to customise Mantis. I'm using 0.17.2 version. I need to disable "Close Bug" button, because I need report, in wich bug resolving date is not that date when bug is closed, but when bug is resolved. So I thought that it is posible to do by disabling that button. Are there any other ways to resolve this problem?? Thaks for your help :)
