tool to structurally change a word?

Post by Annemaart »

Hi,

Another question. I have now found the file in which I can change the word bug to another (better) dutch term. But the word bug pops up a LOT, and not just in the actual tekst that is displayed (strings) but also in links and references. This means a simple replacing of the word bug won't work in this case. And I'm not really looking forward to changing all the words by hand.

So I was wondering there is some kind of tool around maybe to help with these sort of things?

There is really no reason to change the name of the php files in the program (e.g., bug_report_page.php to issue_report_page.php) as this is a lot of work and will cause problems with future releases. Beyond that, everythink on the displays should be in the language files.

Sorry for the late respons.

You mean tell you what the dutch term for the word bug is? We're still discussing that, but options could be 'bevinding' or 'opmerking' or something like that. It's tough to translate though. If you have any better ideas I'd love to hear 'em...
