Assign the same email to multiple users

Is there a way to allow the same email for multiple users, in the new mantis version this will cause some issues when there is a password request, but is there a work around for this?

Which email you are refering to? Most mails can go to multiple persons depending on their relation to the ticket/bug.
One way of doing that is to setup an emailaccount for a distributionlist but that may be over the top,
