ADD STATUS 'Waiting' IN SUMMARY TAB

Hi all,
I added status into system. It is "Waiting". But i want it will be appear in SUMMARY TAB.
Now, This status has always appeared in column 'OPEN'
Can you help me, please!

Am also looking for a way of showing a custom status on the summary page, including a count of the issues under that status?
