Hi guys,
I'm am new on the forum and quite a newbie on mantis configuration too.
I would like to have the chance to insert a custom ID (ticket number) when I create a new issue, I know I can do it with a custom field, or at least this is what I'm doing at the moment, but, the custom field is not included on the mail subject when a new issue is created like is the issue IDs does.
Another solution it could be to manage the inclusion of a custom field inside the notification email subject.
Did anyone of you manage to do something like that or have any suggestion to implement some like that ?

You could write a plugin or extend an existing one that changes the email subject.

I would really like to be able to do this as well. Are you able to perform this with a custom field using the patch above?
