User??? username containing numbers

found a few of users in mantis 1.1.7 like user112, user131 , but none of them listed in user list and all scratched out, see attached.

where are those users ? is it because system generated them ?

Most probably an administrator deleted those users.

any chance to get them back the way it was ?
I checked our 1.1.7 , no audit log , no longlongtime ago backup.

There is hardly any chance to get back the information without a database backup.

Maybe other users can be asked if they have old stored email notifications of issues where such users are seen.
Those email notifications might contain the user names of the deleted users.
After that, you could generate a new users with this user name and change the ID of the user in database to the scratched number.

Thank you for the wonderful suggestion. our 1.1.7 not even setup for email notification
but I can always go to see my backup of database to see any hints over there.

I think the problem here was -
too many administrators in mantis system - no control on change
too little tracking - no audit log on change

anyway, I will see what I can do to recover some user??? with original names.
