does administrative user have access to the database ? (can'

I am trying to install mantis V1.1.8.
I am able to install up to "/mantis/admin/install.php"

I checked user permission...he had admin right and owner of database.

I am getting following error.
"BAD
does administrative user have access to the database ? (can't connect to MySQL Server on 'localhost' (10061))"

sqlservr.exe is running and user has admin permission

I am new to database and SQL so pleas give detail answer..

Which type of database did you choose? Seems to be MySQL?
sqlservr.exe is not MySQL but MS SQL
So you have to install MySQL or you have to select "MS SQL" when configuring the installation options

I had tried to select "MS SQL Server (experimental)" option

Now it is giving me error "BAD Does administrative user have access to the database?()"

Is mantis suppose to work with MS SQL Express edition ?
