Are you using IMAP or POP3?

What version of MantisBT are you using?

What version of EmailReporting are you using?

What package was rolled back after a failed upgrade? the exchange server?

First i suggest you update 0.9.0-DEV

There have been some small amount of fixes for IMAP that might work for your situation

What versions are you running of MantisBT and EmailReporting?

What mail server are you using for IMAP

How do you use IMAP to move issues to certain projects based on the senders?

That system in under development and will not work (hence why 0.9.0 is still 0.9.0-DEV)

Because of changes to some constant variables in the MantisBT core, user creation by EmailReporting might not work as expected.

Not really a planned date for 0.9.0 as there are some big changes that still need a lot of work

You need to schedule a job that runs /mantisbt-root-folder/plugins/EmailReporting/scripts/bug_report_mail.php

This is explained in the readme

The test only tests whether the connection to the mailbox works. It will not actually retrieve any emails

At least the problem is fixed. I'll probably just add some documentation about this in EmailReporting and i hope future pear packages will handle this better and hopefully the php imap package can already handle this

Thats still weird. A connection rejection or timeout should have happened then. It seems to me that the connection was made and immediatly closed outside of the standard pop3 protocol. I've made some small enhancements to error handling

Then i will require the file that starts with "rawmsg_" thats created if debug mode has been activated for EmailReporting or the .msg file when exported from outlook

I've finished preliminary testing on PHP 5.4.1 everything seems to be working without issues so far
