When I have a hyperlink to an issue, this does not work from Excel; it opens the main page of mantis. However, when I have the same link in an email (or as shortcut on my desktop), it does work....

Anyone any idea?

I would like to give users a kind of tag so I can better manage them. This makes bulk actions easier (e.g. assign specific groups to projects). Is this option available somehow?

Well, since I dont use Linux, I had to go with winmerge and unfortunatelly copy/paste everything manually. Don't see an easy option to do this differently, but thanks for the reply.

Hi, I found some patches in the mantis database, but I have no clue as to how to install/implement them?! I can obviously open the .patch and try to figure out which files to change, but I'm prety sure I will make errors. Is htere an "automated" way to implement these patches?? e.g. http:/...

Ok, I've tried almost everything. The mail can only be HTML, but I've tried to use a table, <P>, <br> and <pre> </pre> to get the line brakes in Mantis.

But to no avail....it just sicks all the text together as one big blop.....

I can get mails to be put into mantis, but I guess that when parsing the HTML, all the text from the body is just put after each other as one big textblock. How can I make sure that the layout from the html mail is "copied" into the body? Or at least that fields are seperated by and enter?

Well in this case it was the mandatory version field. Standard its empty (no default value). But i fixed that with the version plugin where I can choose with which project the version is mandatory. However, it would be nice if I had the option to choose which fields should be filled with specifics f...

Simpley explained; making version required gives an error

I get an error when I dont fill in the version (which is checked in the plugin), but the issue gets logged anyway.

I guess you should enter a different port and imap.gmail.com / 993 SSL instead of the outgoing mail (smtp). This plugin picks up mails, it does not send.
