Summary0009872: APPLICATION ERROR #503
Description

Hi all. This is the the sysop of this site. I am trying to upload a text file to show the code changes in one of my bug reports.. Every time I try to upload a file (be it txt, zip, or php) I keep getting the following:

APPLICATION ERROR #503
Invalid upload path. Directory either does not exist or not writable to webserver.

Please use the "Back" button in your web browser to return to the previous page. There you can correct whatever problems were identified in this error or select another action. You can also click an option from the menu bar to go directly to a new section.

This has been going on for the last day or so.. I have uploaded before... In fact 2 times in the last week and no problems. Ticket number I am trying to update is 0009807

Steps To Reproduce

Goto http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=9807 and try to upload a txt file and you will get the error

Additional Information

Believe this is system wide and effect all users. Please fix ASAP

vboctor - looks like we are online at the same time.. think i have something that will help.

Either your storage drive was removed, renamed ect. or the global config file that points to directory was changed.. but i think i know which one.. Lok for directory called "./attach"

Way I found this out... Just goto http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=9807
Then open the file I uploaded called the_code.txt ...The file reads ".. SYSTEM WARNING: readfile(./attach/a45009f887bb46571f6d2a2138ff0f9b) ... function.readfile... failed to open stream: Permission denied"

This is NOT the contents of the file I uploaded and looks like a php error response.

BTW -When I posted this bug for the 503, your version of mantis posted it twice.. but when i posted it, i forgot to select a required feild and had to hit back.. still your system posted both.. this is another error that needs to be looked into in this beta version of 1.2

UPDATE - Actually just looks like a permissions issue on your nix system with Apache 2.2.3.. Goto http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/attach/a45009f887bb46571f6d2a2138ff0f9b and you get a 403 forbidden apache error
