Summary0004956: Feature request: Export to word (and pdf?) with attachments inline
Description

Something I'd like to see in a future release is the word (and pdf) documents having the attached files inside the document.

If I add a picture (screenshot) to clarify the issue, I'd like to see that same picture in the generated word export. Including other types of files isn't necessary. It would of course be great if that is possible as well.

Yes, this would be very handy. We use a lot of FAQ's in our Mantis installation end it would be nice to include uploaded screenshots in the exported document.

However it would be nice if you would have some control over sort order of the attachments.

I think having 2 options on sorting would be good enough (at least for me):

  • date added
  • alphabetic

Ordering could be either ascending or descending.
