Summary | 0028323: Email g_from_name is not recognized. It sends emails as "Mantis Bug Tracker".
Description | Despite setting the variable g_from_name in config_inc.php to 'Custom Issue Tracker', the email sent still has the name 'Mantis Bug Tracker'. To get rid off it, I changed the variable g_from_name in config_defaults_inc.php in 'Custom Issue Tracker' and it still sends email as 'Mantis Bug Tracker'. Php-Mailer method is set in config_inc.php to PHPMAILER_METHOD_MAIL.

I was not able to reproduce your problem with a fresh install of the latest stable MantisBT release. Maybe you have defined |

Thanks dregad for your quick reply. Negative. 'from_name' was not set on the Configuration Report page. Because it's an installation for customers, I can't just play around as I would like to. From there I'll be able to send you a bit more information about the configuration. Just let me know what else you eventually need. Have a nice weekend. |

Thanks for the feedback. I'm resolving as "unable to reproduce" for now. Feel free to reopen if you can provide evidence that this is caused by Mantis and not something specific to your environment. |
