Summary0025077: When PC(windows) shuts down by accident, DB fails to save datas on memory.
Description

Dear users.

I'm working at a small software developer company. And we are using Mantis 2.14 for bug tracking.
A few days ago, a PC(windows) was shut down by accident. and we make it turn on again today.
But mantis data is lost. Issues written over an week are gone.

I suppose maybe a very low usage of memory buffer can be a reason.
Almost a dozen of issues are written per week.

Is there any way to flush data on memory to files everyday?

Or any advice will be helpful. Maybe window restoration can be a problem.
But I suppose it would not affect database files...

Thank you.

Mantis commits changes to the database immediately when they are saved, there is no buffering.

This could be an issue with your DB's configuration, causing it not to flush its cache. In any case, I'm afraid there is not much we can do to help.

PS: it sounds like you are running Mantis locally on a PC - if that's indeed the case, I would suggest you deploy it on a server instead.
