workflow which includes ideas/wishes/suggestions ?

Our product owners here currently have a lengthy discussion about how to handle product ideas / suggestions / requests, and if that can be incorporated into our bugtracking for the product.

What would be a good workflow to have this in Mantis, if at all ? We can customize backend if needed.

The use of custom tags for wishes is not ideal as I see it.

Any other comments about this welcomed.

I customized the thresholds and such in Mantis to match our development flow. I have attached a PDF of our MantisBT Work Flow diagram.
