Create Mantis when doing svn commit

Postby pkrish » Jan 11, 2012 5:38 pm

Hello All,

I am looking to see if there is a way I can create a mantis automatically with relevant details from the comments in the commit, when I check in code using svn.
Can a pre-commit script allow me to do that? Please let me know.

Thanks,
pkrish

Are you aware that there is a source integration plugin https://github.com/mantisbt-plugins/source-integration
For example have a look at section "Related Changesets" at this issue
http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=13715
Please use Search before posting and read the Manual
Use Mantis2Go to try MantisBT on Windows or to reproduce issues

Hi,

I am sorry I am new to this. How do I use these plugins?

source integration plugin https://github.com/mantisbt-plugins/source-integration

We use svn here and I am making some enhancements to the version control by making changes in pre-commit and post-commit scripts. Please let me know.

Thanks

Can you also advise on how to log messages from the pre-commit and post-commit scripts?

Thanks

Try asking at IRC mantisbt-help or write to the mailing list
http://www.mantisbt.org/support.php
The author of the plugin (jreese) and other users of the plugin are listening at these channels.
