Disable "Signup for new account"

Hello.

How can i disable the option "Signup for new account" on the start page.
I don't want to allow unknown people to create an account.
I only want to create an account for my customers.

I have $g_allow_signup = ON, but always redirecting to login page.
"Lost your password?" redirects me to login page too.
What's wrong?
