Combine List and String

Hi,

I want to create a custom field which should be a combination of the types "List" and "String".
Explication: If a user reports a bug he sould be able to selcet a value out of a list - if the value does not exist, he should be able to write his own text.

Is there a way to tell Mantis to do so?

I am also looking for something like this. Has anyone found an answer? I am looking for a solution for my developers to identify affected files in a string list which they could type into. Any suggestions or direction would be appreciated!

You might consider to use the existing tagging functionality for your purposes.
