Disallow users to close an issue

Post by DieTa »

Hi there,

first of all, I want to say that Mantis is a fantastic and easy-to-use product which I really enjoy to work with!

I've a minor problem with Mantis, I want to disallow normal users to close their issues. They should set it to a solved state and the teamleader should close it afterwards.

In the configuration it's not possible to disallow this, even for guests.

Is there a way or workaround for?

Thanx in advance
Dennis

Great to know you like Mantis :)

Do you have the following option set to OFF, i.e. not overridden in your config_inc.php?

Code: Select all

	# --- reporter can close ----------
	# Allow reporters to close the bugs they reported, after they're marked resolved.
	$g_allow_reporter_close		= OFF;

Hi guys,

thanx for the fast feedback and sorry for my late response...

@vboctor: Unfortunately, I've currently no access to that file (I'm just admin in the GUI - currently).. :?

But I will ask the admin for that detail!

@ikutluay: What do you like to know/see?

A little piece of the configuration looks like this:

Sorry, it's "live" and I can't switch to english quickly because of that :?

Or do you like to see the configuration-file?

Ciao
