assign to list without admin

Hi folks,

I'm trying to get the administrator out of the list of possible user that one can assign problems to. After searching through the forums I'm totaly confused.

Can any body help me to achive that the admin does not appear in the drop-down box of user one can assign a bug to?

Have you tried the following
1. Login to Mantis as an administrator
2. Menu Manage => Manage Configuration => Workflow Thresholds
3. Uncheck "Handle an issue" in the Administrator column
4. Click on the Update Configuration button at the bottom

In my implementation "Handle an issue" is on the 7th line down. If "All Projects" is selected in the Upper RHS, this changes the system default. It can be overridden for a specific project by first choosing the project you wish to adjust.

worked like a charm. I was just so confused reading all the posts and manual that I didn't saw the forest for all of the trees.
