File Upload Path

Hello,
Is it possible to change the path where the attached files are stored. We are trying to save them in file server.
I was looking the confing_inc file:
# $g_file_upload_method = DATABASE; # or DISK
# $g_absolute_path_default_upload_folder = ''; # used with DISK, must contain trailing \ or /.
If i want that my users add files not to database anymore but directy to the file server is it possible ? Or maby to add when reporting an issue, the link of our file server and with a click than we can put the files there manually
