Hello Fellow Mantis User's,
We are into our 4th Year of Using Mantis and it's been an awesome experience so far! Well supported by a strong community!
I have a query that i have explained below. I am unsure if this can be handled via configuration tweaks or some custom code and hence i am writing a post. Any help/guidance will be most welcome!
In View Issues , There is drop down menu for various action’s
Is there a way to configure such that after Developer fixes a Bug he can use the drop down menu to change status and resolution together.
My Workflow is as Follows: Assigned<Resolved<Tested<Closed
Developer can update Status from Assigned to Resolved and resolution would need to be updated from Open to Fixed/Not Fixable/Unable to Reproduce. This will help devloper group all bugs that are fixed and do a bulk status/resolution update.
Currently bulk update of status is working via menu, but for resolution to be updated developer would need to go in edit mode individually and update from drop down menu.
Any pointers or any work arounds to tackle this would be really helpful.
I have attached screen shots
