How do you add plugins when it is externally hosted?

Hi

I have inherited a remotely hosted install by Mantis for which I'm told that we pay a nominal fee. i.e. We have the front end UI, but no access to the back end.

I notice that a lot of posts refer to installing add-ins. If I find an add-in which I like, How would I go about doing this?

You need access to the file system of the host.
