update the custom field just by entering the view_all_bug_pa

Hi guys
i have created a custom field "days" to show how many days that bug is opened (just like in the summary, as a custom field)
but i can only update by updating the bug itself, and i want to update the custom field just by entering the view_all_bug_page.
Any ideas?

Might not be what you expect, but might help:
There is a drop down menu at the bottom of the page where one of the options should be "Update days".

i can do it by entering on summary page, then getting back to view_all_bug_page.

Confusing, there is nothing which can be changed on summary page (summary_page.php)

but still, i want to update THAT custom field just by entering view_all_bug_page, updating the value on the database

There are a lot of changes that have to be made to get this functionality.
