Source Control Integration with GitPhp

Hi,
Has anyone here managed to use the Source Control Integration plugin with GitPhp? I've got Mantis 2.6.0 going, Source Control Integration plugin 2.1.0, the GitPHP one that came with that (2.0.1) and gitphp version 0.2.9 but I'm having trouble with it retrieving commits. It gets to a point then stops with a "file data failure", but I'm not sure why. Also, for the commits it does find, it looks like some of the links aren't being created properly in Mantis.
If anyone has any experience with this and can help I'd appreciate it immensely.
