Config for one page login form for 2.4.0?

Post by gcornelisse »

Is there a configuration to get back the standard type of login form which has username and password fields on a single page? I acknowledge the security benefits of the two-step process, but it really messes up our users and our ability to use a password vault. I'd rather see a normal login form and a captcha instead if security is the concern.

It would be useful for us to have login and password on the same page. 8)
We have many accounts on the same PC and with separate login and password on two different pages we can store in Firefox browser only one password given the absence of login.

If possible maybe in the next releases would not be bad. :D

I guess we're stuck hacking the code to get the login back to normal. I love Mantis. Especially the price tag. I've been using it for more than a decade. But, these kind of arbitrary, no-option "upgrades" really frustrates me.

@gcornelissem, you could create a feature request for the option at https://www.mantisbt.org/bugs and send a pull request at https://github.com/mantisbt/mantisbt
