Not receiving confirmation email for new account

I have registered with these credentials: email: darren@z.....,com username: darrenbilbao password: z........6 but I have not received a confirmation email allowing me to confirm my account. I tried resetting my password and still did not receive an email. Can someone please help? Thanks!

Are you talking about an account at our bug tracker?
If so, try again to create the account as there is no account with that name.

Yes, an account for bug tracker. And I have tried recreating an account using the same login credentials. I get to this page (see attached) but then do not receive an email to activate my account. I've checked spam box and the email isn't being sent there either. Any advice?

Thank you for linking me to that FAQ page.

I'm sorry but I am not familiar with how to do this first step (open your config_inc.php (located in: <XAMPP>\htdocs\mantis\ or <WAMP>\www\mantis\ )). Can you explain this? The rest appears to be self-explanatory. And yes... I know, I know, I am not tech savvy and that was probably a stupid question - but if you can explain I would really appreciate it. I really need to set this up for the company I work with.

open your config_inc.php

means: Use any editor to change the contents of file config_inc.php.
Depending on the MantisBT version you use, you will find the file in root directory of your MantisBT installation (versions <= 1.2.x) or subdirectory config (versions >= 1.3.x)
