Mantis 2.0: Make 'Product Version' a required field

Hi guys,

Is there any way through the admin screen or plugins to make 'Product Version' a required version when submitting a request?

There is no configuration option for it.
You would have to write a plugin (better in long term) or a custom function (will not be supported in long term, but certainly the next years)

I didn't have a deeper look at it, be aware that the user wrote the function in 2012 for an old MantisBT version.
You might have to adapt it to MantisBT 2.0.
