SMTP Relay Failing

Hi,

I have searched both this message board and google and can't seem to find my problem (I'm a bot of a noob)

I have mantis set up with a gmail relay on a synology nas. Recently when posting a new issue, I am getting an error that says

Code: Select all

SSL Operation Failed with code 1. OpenSSL error message:
error: 14090086: SSL routines:ssl3_get_server_certificate:certificate verify failed' in 'path_to_/library/phpmailer/class.smtp.php' line 249

My NAS has a certificate supplied by synology and this previously worked without a problem.

I confirmed that I can still login to the gmail account that I am using as a relay.

Any ideas?
