Hi everyone!
I want to install mantis on a windows server 2012.
In this server there is IIS8 installed.
I've just try to install php7 and mysql 5 from WebPlatform Installer and
phpMyAdmin to access mysql via web.
I can login into Mantis but I have problem after login during cooking check.
I decide to skip this kind of installation and use Apache Web Server, as another
previous successfully installation on other server.
The question is: if I want to use Xampp now I read that MySql has been replaced
with MariaDB.
In the future I will be able to import older data from an existing mantis
database to the new one? Which version of Xampp do you recommend me to use?
Thanks a lot!
Sara

MariaDB and MySQL are basically same thing. Migrating data from MySQL to MariaDB or back is super-easy. I'm sure there are plenty of resources on the Web on how to do it.
