How to sort order of project dropdown by name?

Hello!

I tried to change the sort order of the dropdown list in the upper right from sorting by id to sorting by name but without success...

is there anyone outside who can help me with that?

i just want that all the projects in this dropdown are sorted by NAME not by ID..

i tried so many things in so many files but nothing worked :/

I am not able to reproduce the issue (tried versions 1.2.19 and 1.3.0)
