I'm using Mantis BT to manage a software package. The work flow I would like to setup is the following.
An engineer in the field needs to report a problem. They log into a single shared account by the engineers. The account is protected.
There is only one project defined at the moment. the shared engineers account is setup as a "reporter".
So the engineer logs in, and clicks on the Report Issue link, the report form pops up.
The "Enter Report Details" page is now displayed. Fine.
There is a "Assign to" field, which I would like to either get rid of set a default. The idea is that the engineer has no idea who's going to take care of the bug or assign it. Someone from the software team, a triage guys, will review the new reported issues and then assign them to someone to fix the bug or issue. So, is there a way of either getting rid of the Assign to field or set default?
Also, is there a way of setting a default category? Right now it's a pull down with only one category in the pull down.
