Modification Notes

I have a field called Modification Notes.
And I want the space to be unlimited..So I set the Min. Length and Max.Length to '0'
But for some reason it still cuts off the text in the middle.. please help.

Custom fields are limited to 255 characters in Mantis version 1.2.x.

Is there anyway to fix this problem?

There will be a new custom field type "text area" in version 1.3 of MantisBT.
