Cannot set/edit status anymore (1.2.19)

Cannot set/edit status anymore (1.2.19)

Hello and good day.

I'm using Mantis since a couple of years. Last version I used was 1.2.5 - for a long time. Now I updated to 1.2.19 and get a problem with status information.
In the past it was possible to set different statuses. Below the ticket information I had some button. Next the button "assign to" was the button "set status". But it seems this button disappears. Also, if I edit a ticket I cannot edit the status anymore (in the past there were a dropdown for this field).

I have this issue with the role manager and also with administrator.
Is there anything I can do to get this function back?

Would be happy if someone can give me the right hint ;-)

Choose the affected project in project selection box
Goto page Manage > Manage Configuration > Workflow thresholds
Check row "Update issue status"

Thank you for your reply.
The following roles are checked: developer, manager, administrator
As I wrote, everything was fine until I did the update from 1.2.5 to 1.2.19.
Any other idea?

Does this happen with all issues or just issues with a certain status?
If this occurs just for some status values, check rows "Status where an issue becomes read only" and "Update readonly issues" on page Manage > Manage Configuration > Workflow thresholds
