Permission denied on config_inc.php

Hello,
I'm a novice of Mantis.

To start experimenting on it, I started an EC2 instance on AWS with Mantis already installed.

I logged in by SSH as bitnami user.

Then I tried to configure smtp on it.
I read that I have to add some rows in /opt/bitnami/apps/mantis/config_inc.php but when I try to go into that directory I get "Permission denied" error, so I can't open the config_inc.php to edit it.


Where am I wrong?
