double line spacing in emails

Hi,
We have been facing this problem after we installed BBCodePlus plugin. The emails that go out are having double line spacing. The users have asked us to look into this. Has anybody faced this problem before? Any help would be appreciated.
Looks something like this. I am pretty sure its not an outlook issue.
