Slow Mantis when update/add task

Hi

I've installed Mantis v. 1.2.3 on Win2k3 x64 server based on WAMP - Apache 2.2.17, PHP 5.3.5 and MySQL 5.5.8. The problem is that registering new isse or updating existing one is very slow. First i thought that it's DB problem with UPDATE query but i'm almoust sure that problem is related with sending emails. I remember that shortly after installation i had requested password reset and it works very well and fast. Now i see that requesting password reset takes a very long time as well - same like with registering isse or updating.

How to solve this issue ?

Have a look at your database table mantis_email_table
Maybe there are emails in queue which can't be delivered and MantisBT tries again and again.

This table contains 8 emails. Should i delete all rows in table ?

Removing might temporary resolve the issue but you might get the same problems some time later.
You should check the current entries before deleting. (wrong email addresses, huge email body, ...)

Exactly, today it has happend again. Email addresses are correct, the problem was with email subject which lead to decline by our mail server (spam words in subject) and email has just been bounced. This was the reason in the first case. On the beggining i thought that it was setup related problem as the table rows i deleted first time contained first email with administrator password so i hoped it wont happen again.
