Hello,
we have started to develop an iOS Client (iphone/ipad) for Mantis using the SOAP interface. The focus is on offline management and notifications. I am at airports at some times and offline management would be very helpful, so I started to write an app for that, my colleague is taking over now.
I just wanted to check - is there an "official" developement going on? It makes no sense to develop the same thing twice.
We would appreciate if you have any additional ideas or requirements regarding an app for mantis. Please give us your ideas for considerations. We can send out a first AdHoc for testing at the end of September if anyone is interested (so far we have login, basic viewing capabilities and local storage of the 200 most recent issues.. and a nice gui).

What do you mean when writing "official"?seb73 wrote: I just wanted to check - is there an "official" developement going on? It makes no sense to develop the same thing twice.

"Official" - some folks from this forum, devs from the mailing list. I never had any problems with mantis and wrote some php addons myself just for my installation, so I don't know if there is a project going on already. I checked with google and found nothing, there is nothing in the appstore so far - so this board was the last place I wanted to check.
Anyway, as soon as I have something functional I will post it here. It is a hybrid app for iphone/ipad and I can create enterprise adhocs that do not require any device IDs.
